The punch needle technique, also known as Russian embroidery, takes shape in the Foliage Cushion, a decorative piece of leaves embroidered with soft acrylic threads. The kit was created by artisan Raíssa Brito, from the Caasulo atelier, a punch needle specialist and a reference for the technique in Brazil. You receive all the materials and an explanatory video lesson.
Difficulty Level: Beginner. The project includes the pattern booklet and video tutorial, which guide you step-by-step.

Weaving Experience: The #43 yarn is substantial and soft, great for punch needle: it fills quickly and covers the fabric well, making the embroidery full and even.
Yarn Story: It is 100% acrylic and vegan, with no animal-derived components in its production. The fibers and softening agents come from plant-based and mineral substrates.
