It is developed by Fios da Fazenda, in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul, a reference in hand-dyed natural wool. It is a worsted, medium-weight yarn, with artisanal and natural dyeing, made from botanical dyes, which gives those organic and vibrant colors, with small variations that tell the story of each skein. Merino wool is known for its softness and for regulating body temperature, keeping you warm in the cold. A yarn for special pieces, made to last.
Weaving experience: merino wool is soft and regulates body temperature, absorbing moisture and keeping you cozy. The natural dyeing provides organic colors, with small tonal variations between batches that are the hallmark of the artisanal process.
Yarn Story: Yarn #91 is developed by Fios da Fazenda, a company from São Pedro do Sul (RS) with over 15 years dedicated to hand-dyed natural wool. It is produced with 100% Australian Merino sheep's wool and dyed by hand, with botanical dyes such as indigo, yerba mate, and natural barks. The fiber undergoes heat treatment to reduce shrinkage, but, like all natural wool, it requires a washed swatch before the final piece.
