Yarn 92 is 100% merino wool, from Australian Merino sheep, in a chunky, very robust version, for winter pieces with volume and presence. It is developed by Fios da Fazenda, in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul, a reference in hand-dyed natural wool. The dyeing is artisanal and natural, made with botanical dyes, which gives organic and vibrant colors. Merino wool is soft, truly warm and regulates body temperature, in a yarn that works up quickly on the needle because it is thicker.
Weaving experience: merino wool is soft and regulates body temperature, absorbing moisture and keeping you cozy. Being chunky, the yarn works up quickly on the needle and forms voluminous pieces. Natural dyeing gives organic colors, with small variations in tone between lots.
Yarn Story: yarn #92 is developed by Fios da Fazenda, a company from São Pedro do Sul (RS) with over 15 years dedicated to hand-dyed natural wool. It is produced with 100% Australian Merino sheep wool and dyed artisanally, with botanical dyes. The fiber receives thermal treatment to reduce shrinkage, but, like all natural wool, it requires a washed swatch before the final piece.
TIP
Purchase the necessary amount of skeins to make your piece, ensuring they are from the same dye lot.
