The 10-Yarn #53 Collection Kit brings together ten skeins of our recycled yarn, the one that comes from scraps left over from the fashion industry. Fabric trimmings that would otherwise go to waste are collected, sorted by color, defibrated, and spun again, becoming this yarn with a rustic appearance and plenty of character. There are ten colors in a single kit, enough for larger decorative projects: rugs, blankets, baskets, placemats, and pieces that require quantity and resistance.
Weaving experience: the thickness is ideal for decoration, and the slightly rustic look gives strength and personality to the weave. With ten skeins, you can weave large pieces without stopping to replenish material.
Yarn Story: yarn #53 is made from the defibration of leftover fabrics and knits from the fashion industry. As the scraps vary from batch to batch, part of the composition appears as diverse fibers. After being collected and sorted by color, the fibers return to their raw state and are spun again, in a process that utilizes what already exists instead of producing from scratch.
